North Tonawanda Police have issued a missing person report for 17-year-old Victoria "Tori" Wagner. Based upon Snapchat messages the family has been receiving, police believe Wagner is being held against her will at an unknown location.

The New York State Attorney General is suing Peter Battaglia Jr., owner and operator of Battaglia Demolition Inc. and related companies, to force the South Buffalo demolition debris facility to end noxious conditions – described as “unbearable” and “sickening” by residents. The suit charges that Battaglia’s dust, noise, odors, vermin, truck traffic and other harmful impacts have created a public nuisance under state law and that the facility is illegally operating without required state environmental permits.

The State Department of Transportation will perform a controlled implosion of  the South Cascade Drive - Miller Road Bridge (formerly US Route 219) over Cattaraugus Creek Thursday.  The implosion is necessary to expedite a $16.9 million-dollar design-build project to replace the bridge with a modern structure.
