Buffalo Police say they are investigating two shootings over the weekend that left one person dead and three people wounded.
Police say gunfire occurred around 1 a.m. Sunday on Loepere Street on the city's East Side during a large gathering. A 19-year-old man and a 22-year-old man are listed in serious condition, while a 20-year-old man was treated and released from the hospital.
Buffalo Police also are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Saturday morning. Officers responded to the call just before 8 a.m. in the vicinity of Ashley Street and Quincy Street, also on the East Side.
Detectives say a passerby discovered the body of a 23-year-old man in a field. An autopsy performed by the Erie County Medical Examiner's Office determined the cause of death as a gunshot wound.
