9/11 stainless steel memorial visits downtown Buffalo
Wednesday, September 11 will mark the 12th anniversary of the terror attacks, but on Tuesday a remembrance was held in Niagara Square in downtown Buffalo.
Buffalo Common Council members, firefighters and members of the military gathered to reflect on the events of 9/11.
The event featured a seven-foot-tall, stainless steel 9/11 memorial created by Ed Hogle and nine others from Steel Crazy Iron Art of Buffalo.
WBFO's Eileen Buckley talked with Hogle about the memorial, which includes a replica of the Twin Towers sitting on a platform in the shape of the United States with the names of those killed in the terror attacks.
