Artspace Settles Into Buffalo

Artspace residents Lukia Costello and Amanda Beale

Buffalo, NY –

It's been about a year since Artspace celebrated the grand opening of its new residential and work space for artists in Buffalo. The idea of providing an affordable artist community created a lot of excitement when the city successfully lured the national project here. Advocates envisioned a neighborhood of artists who would feed off of one another's creativity and attract new interest in downtown living. But how is the ambitious vision working out now that the artists have settled in? WBFO's Joyce Kryszak dropped by to talk with some of the tenants.

If you'd like to take a peak for yourself at what life is like inside Artspace you can catch the Settled exhibit though the end of the month. The gallery is open Friday nights, and Saturday ad Sunday afternoons.
