Babel Series Features Booker Prize Winning Author A.S. Byatt
Buffalo, NY – On Friday the Just Buffalo Literary Center kicks off its new Babel Series with a visit from one of world's most acclaimed authors. British writer A.S. Byatt is the Booker Prize winning author of Possession. And Byatt's new novel, the Children's Book, is once again on the short list of works favored to win the prize this year. The book is being released in the United States Tuesday. The winner of the Booker Prize also will be announced later Tuesday. WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with Ms. Byatt on the phone from her home in England.
