Buffalo Avenue: Buffalo Gay Men's Chorus

Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo Gay Men's Chorus is showing its Pride and Passion in two performances on January 25th and 26th.

It is getting close to showtime for the members of the Buffalo Gay Mens Chorus. Their two winter concerts, called the "Proud and the Passionate," are little more than a week away.

Artisitic Director Barbara Wagoner has been working with the chorus for almost as long as it has existed -- more than seven years. She says the members of the BGMC influenced the musical selections.

WBFO's Kenny Macdonald recently spoke with Barbara and Choir President Mike Liska. The January 25th performance is in the choir's home-base at the Unitarian Universalist Church at Elmwood Avenue and West Ferry Street. The January 26th performance is at Temple Beth Zion on Delaware Avenue.

Tickets to the two performances are still available, directly through the chorus web site or by contacting the Unitarian Universalist Church.
