Buffalo, NY – This Saturday poets from Buffalo and all over the world will gather in their communities to promote social and political change. So far, more than 500 cities in 95 countries have signed on to take part in the global event, "100 Thousand Poets for Change."
In Buffalo, poets will read continuously Saturday from 11:30 A.M. through the evening at Buffalo State College outside the Bulger Center.
WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with two of the most notable poets, David Landrey and Susan Hutton. They both helped organize the local event. But Landrey said poets everywhere will be connected in the spirit of change.
Anyone can participate in the event. More information is available at 100 Thousand Poets for Change.
