Ceremony recognizes soldiers' return
A ceremony will be held this morning to mark the return of a Buffalo-based unit from deployment in Afghanistan.
A Freedom Salute Awards Ceremony will be held at the Connecticut Street Armory recognizing the service of the Company C, 427th Brigade Support Battalion.
The unit was mobilized a year ago to provide support and medical coverage at Kandahar Airfield and the surrounding area.
