Buffalo, NY – UB's Asian Studies Program this week is hosting noted author and China scholar, Daniel Bell. He is professor of political philosophy at Tsinghua University in Beijing. And he is the author of the book China's New Confucianism: Politics and Everyday Life in a Changing Society. He will give a lecture at UB Thursday about confucianism as an alternative as China retreats from communism. Bruce Acker from the Asian Studies program and Bell joined WBFO's Joyce Kryszak in studio to talk about the changes he's seeing behind the red curtain.
