Buffalo, NY – On September 6th, 1907, the McKinley Monument in Niagara Square in downtown Buffalo was dedicated by Governor Charles Evans Hughes and other dignitaries, on the sixth anniversary of McKinley's assassination; construction began June 30, 1905, and was completed July 1, 1906.
