Buffalo, NY – On September 14th, 1901 William McKinley, 58, 25th US president (R 1897-1901), died at 2:10AM, in the Milburn mansion on Delaware Avenue, of gangrene from gunshot wounds suffered September 6th of that year at the Pan-American Exposition. He was born January 29 1843, in Niles OH.
