Buffalo, NY – Residents and environmental advocacy groups have raised questions about how well various agencies responded to environmental concerns following two industrial fires in Buffalo.
Air conditions in the neighborhood surrounding Niagara Lubricant on Chandler Street was of particular concern.
The not-for-profit Clean Air Coalition of Western New York responded immediately. But the Environmental Protection Agency was a day behind.
WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with EPA regional director Judith Enck to find out why. Enck agrees there do need to be changes.
