Exploring the Canadian Northwoods

Buffalo, NY – The University at Buffalo's Environmental Studies program is sponsoring an exploration of the Canadian Northwoods at the end of next month.

Program coordinator Sanford Geffner is a professional naturalist who will lead the four day trip. He is also the co-director of Earth Spirit, an organization which develops environmental programs that serve more than 20,000 people a year. His ties the area and UB stretch 30 years and begin with the original leadership role at the Tift Farm Nature Preserve.

Only a couple of opening remain for the Algonquin trip.
