Homicide expert spoke in Amherst

Amherst, NY – Members of the Amherst Police force are spending time this week listening to a former New York City homicide investigator who now shares his expertise with police agencies throughout North America.

Vernon Geberth's career as a homicide cop spans more than 40 years. He's a retired Lieutenant Commander of the New York City Police Department, and managed a Bronx Homicide Task Force that handled at least 400 murder cases per year.
