Buffalo, NY – James Joyce scholars from all over the world converge on Buffalo Friday. The North American James Joyce Conference is being held here through Tuesday. That's Bloomsday for you Joycians. Helping to kick off the heady literary symposium is a contemporary Irish-born novelist of his own considerable heft. Colum McCann will read from his book, Everything in This Country Must. The story was made into a Oscar-nominated short film. It's being featured at tonight's Cinegael Film Festival at the Albright Knox Art Gallery. WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with McCann about his work and his affinity with James Joyce.
