Local preservationists are attempting to save a North Buffalo church that is designated for demolition.
The United Methodist Church on Colvin Avenue was burned by an arson fire in April, leaving the structure in a dangerous state. The Preservation Board is attempting to get landmark status for the church.
A hearing on that decision is planned for January.
