Niagara Falls, NY – A high school student in the Niagara Wheatfield School District has died from complications from the H1N1 virus. That is the word today from the school district.
A message on the district's website says it received word at 9 a.m. Wednesday that a high school student passed away due to complications from swine flu. Parents were also notified through phone calls.
The district says it is working in conjunction with the Niagara County Health Department and other organizations to deal with the situation. The District says parents with concerns may contact the district's health services director or school superintendent. This is the second death linked to H1NI in Niagara County.
