Opposition to downsizing Erie County Legislature

Buffalo, NY – Erie County voters will get to decideTuesday whether to reduce the county legislature from 15 to 11 members.

The proposal is a late addition to the ballot following a court ruling last week. As WBFO's Michael Mroziak reports, the proposition may head right back to a judge once the votes are counted.

Downsizing advocate Kevin Gaughan is appearing through out the day Tuesday at several voting places in Erie County to greet voters and encourage them to support the county proposition. He will talk with voters in the Town of Amherst, Cheektowaga,Tonawanda, and the town of Lancaster.
