Buffalo, NY – The passage of same-sex marriage legislation in New york State leads the discussion on this week's Press Pass.

Late Friday night, republican Senator Mark Grisanti of Buffalo cast a deciding vote on the issue.

Before the vote, WBFO's Chris Jamele spoke with ArtVoice editor Geoff Kelly about the challenges the issue presented for Grisanti and why the vote on the issue was continually delayed.
