Regier gets extension with Sabres
On the eve of the Buffalo Sabres' debut in the upcoming 48-game lockout shortened season, owner Terry Pegula met the media. One of his announcements was a contract extension for longtime General Manager Darcy Regier.
The 2013 season will be Regier's 16th as General Manager. Terms of the extension were not released.
The Sabres open at First Niagara Center Sunday afternoon versus the Philadelphia Flyers.
