Buffalo, NY – Some UB scientists and local artists are joining forces to explore the two worlds in a cafe experience.
Buffalo's first ever science and art cabaret will be held Tuesday night at the Ninth Ward of Babeville. Our on-air mentions of this story had incorrectly given the wrong date.
The cafe scientifique concept is growing in popularity all across the country. The theme for Tuesday is Taking Apart Nature. But this won't be a dull science class. There will be particle physicists, an artist, a poet and a punk band to both inform and entertain.
If the event proves to be a popular experiment, organizers say they hope to hold the cabaret on a regular basis. Anyone who is interested can attend. Admission to the cabaret is free at the Ninth Ward of Babeville from 7 till 9pm Tuesday night.
