Seaway Trail offers high-tech treasure hunt

Buffalo, NY – The Great Lakes Seaway Trail has been turned into a Geo-Trail for high-tech treasure hunters. The game of geo-caching is gaining in popularity among outdoor adventurers worldwide. So, Seaway Trail officials decided to cash in on the hobby to promote the unique Great Lakes treasures.

WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with project manager Kurt Schumacher about what folks can expect to find. Schumacher said the Seaway Trail is a real treasure trove of natural beauty and history.
