StoryCorps: The High School Graduation Speech

Buffalo, NY – WBFO presents a a StoryCorps conversation recorded in Buffalo in the summer of 2008. Dozens of graduation ceremonies will take place this weekend. And each ceremony will feature a student speech, usually by the class valedictorian. For Meghan Groth, delivering that speech was a terrifying experience. She joined her mother, Connie Gaylord, at StoryCorps to talk about it.
