StoryCorps: Milton Schoch and Abigail Unger

Buffalo, NY – WBFO presents another story that was recorded at StoryCorps in Buffalo last summer. In his prime, Milton Schoch says he performed in more than 100 musicals. He loved to sing, so much so that Abigail Unger, a musical therapist with Hospice, invited Milton to join her at StoryCorps. She even brought her guitar so they could sing.

But when I heard the hospice reference in their conversation, I thought it would be best for me to call Abby. Regrettably, she informed me Milton has since died. So, we dedicate today's StoryCorps to the memory of a man who had a passion to sing -- Milton Schoch.
