Meryl?Streep as Julia?Child
Meryl?Streep as Julia?Child

Buffalo, NY – Jim wishes a Happy Birthday to his wife Mary Lou, as Tony notes her birthday is near that of Jacqueline Onassis. Shakespeare at Delaware Park continues with a BIG production of Julius Caesar. Tony is a big fan of Meryl Streep as a stage actress, so Jim wants him to review Streep's role as Julia Child in the new movie Julie and Julia. There's a community theater presentation of Peter Pan by and for kids, and the Subversive Theatre Collective is staging Eugene O'Neill's The Hairy Ape, as part of Buffalo's Infringement Festival. The Glass Menagerie is being presented by the Chautauqua Theater Company, and Neil Simon's Biloxi Blues continues at Desiderio's dinner-theater in Lancaster.

(P.S. Don't miss Jim's WBFO StoryCorps segment, which aired this past Wednesday, July 29, 2009.)
