Visit Buffalo Niagara treats tourists to ice cream

How did one local tourism group welcome visitors Wednesday, and mark National Travel and Tourism Week? They handed out free ice cream.

Calling it a chance to get a "scoop" on tourism, Visit Buffalo Niagara gave out free ice cream servings to visitors at their office at Clinton and Washington Streets, until supplies ran out.
