Police say paramedics were called to headquarters on John James Audubon Parkway Tuesday, after a 40-year-old woman suffered an apparent seizure and collapsed in a hallway. She was in custody on a bench warrant and on her way to Town Court.

Police say first aid was rendered immediately and the woman was transported to Millard Fillmore Hospital, but she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The incident is under investigation, but police say it appears at this time she suffered some type of medical event. Her name is being withheld pending family notification.
