145th state assembly race

Erie County Republican Party Chairman Nick Langworthy says Mickey Kearns win in the 145th Assembly district shows voters want choice, no matter their party affiliation.

Len Lenihan, Chair of the Erie County Democratic Party, takes issue with the Kearns' campaign and its attack on state Democrats, notably Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver.

Lenihan told WBFO and AM 970 News' Mark Leitner that inner party attacks make it difficult for leaders to govern.
