Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle suspected of striking a 14-year-old boy riding his bicycle on Grand Island early Wednesday evening.

A Quebec truck driver pleaded guilty in State Supreme Court to charges in connection with a hit-and-run accident that killed a pedestrian in Lancaster June 21.

Buffalo Police made an arrest in a fatal hit and run accident that occurred earlier this month following an intensive investigation.

32-year-old Michael Held of North Tonawanda was arrested Tuesday night.

48-year-old April Smith of Buffalo was struck by a vehicle along the 1100 block of Broadway on October 2 and died from her injuries.   Held is accused of leaving the accident. He was arraigned Wednesday.

Buffalo Police Commissioner Daniel Derenda said Held turned himself in Tuesday night.
