The Buffalo Bills open their home schedule this Sunday with a game against the Miami Dolphins and if you don't already have a ticket, you can expect to pay a premium on the secondary market.

Calling it "generational electricity," Matt Sabuda says anticipation for Sunday's Buffalo Bills home opener may be at an all-time high. During "Beyond the Playbook" on WBFO's Morning Edition, Sabuda discussed the announcement that the Bills will be sold to Terry and Kim Pegula.

The owners of the Buffalo Sabres have been chosen to be the new owners of the Buffalo Bills. Terry and Kim Pegula have made the winning bid to take ownership of the storied NFL franchise.

The Buffalo Bills and the team's likely incoming owner, Terry Pegula, both issued statements Tuesday afternoon, making their sale agreement official. Donald Trump and Jon Bon Jovi, who both lost out in the bidding process, also issued remarks.

Just days after he was signed, the Buffalo Bills released back-up quarterback Jordan Palmer Friday.

Jamestown is losing its minor league baseball franchise to a bigger market. Owner Rich Baseball Operations is moving the team to Morgantown, West Virginia.

Sabres to host OHL game, top prospect McDavid

Report: Pegula submits initial $1.3 billion Bills bid

Preliminary bids in the sale of the Buffalo Bills have been submitted and those bids start at over $1 billion. There were reportedly at least 15 interested in purchasing the team, but only three are known to have placed an official bid before Tuesday’s deadline.

A 5pm Tuesday deadline has passed for potential buyers of the Buffalo Bills to submit initial bids.

It was a busy afternoon for the Buffalo Sabres on the first day of National Hockey League free agency Tuesday.

USA Hockey announced Wednesday that Buffalo will host two world championships at the soon-to-be-completed HARBORCENTER in 2015. The 8th annual International Ice Hockey Federation Under-18 Women’s World Championship will be held next January and the International Paralympic Committee Ice Sledge Hockey Worlds will begin in April.

The fan-generated effort to create a "Bon Jovi Free Zone" in Buffalo received some widespread publicity in the US and Canada Thursday night.  As WBFO's Mark Scott reports, the CBC's As It Happens found out why some people here are angry with the rock singer.
