September marks National Deaf Awareness Month and we bring you a story about students at St. Mary's School for the Deaf in Buffalo. WBFO's senior reporter Eileen Buckley says they recently created an American Sign Language music video.

Students at St. Mary's School for the Deaf in Buffalo received a technology upgrade Friday that will enhance their STEM learning. National Grid gas donated 10 Atlas laptop computers from Bak USA to the school. 

"Explore Buffalo" sees growing interest in tours

The group "Explore Buffalo" continues to attract more interest. In just its second year of operation in 2015, the group led more than 750 tours of various attractions in Western New York.

With much concern centered on Buffalo's education crisis,  one local college is putting educators in the spotlight.  Buffalo State College has dubbed 2014 as the 'Year of the Teacher'.  It's designed to celebrate educators and the impact they've had on students.  WBFO'S Eileen Buckley traveled to St. Mary's School of Deaf where a mother shared the story of her autistic son inspired by his teacher.
