U.S. Labor Secretary Thomas Perez gave a powerful speech on Tuesday night to a coalition of community members who want to bring diversity to the Western New York workforce.

President Obama has called for an executive order to raise the minimum wage for workers under new federal contracts.  The wage would rise from $7.25 an hour to $10.10 an hour.  In an exclusive WBFO News interview with Eileen Buckley,  U.S. Labor Secretary Thomas Perez  talked about the wage increase and jobs.
