The driver of the tanker truck with a cargo of refrigerated hydrogen that sprung a leak after hitting a light pole has been ticketed by police.

The Niagara Falls Airport is closed and variety of emergency agencies remain on scene in Niagara Falls Tuesday, where a tanker leaking refrigerated hydrogen is a flammable, explosive hazard to the area.

Wegmans is recalling 1,125 pounds of chicken.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service reports the products were produced without the benefit of federal inspection.


Wegmans plans to stop carrying health and beauty products containing microbeads.

Wegmans supermarkets are recalling a number of bread products sold under their own brand name.

Wegmans says it has recalled its Wegmans Pita Breads and Thin Sandwich Rolls.  They may contain a foreign object from a damaged conveyor belt. 

Wegamans says it could have resulted in metal or plasticized fabric pieces in the product. Wegmans says they are only from the pita items purchased Wednesday, March 28th at its stores.

The products may be returned for a full refund.

An altercation between a husband and wife at a local supermarket led to a stabbing.

Buffalo Police were called to the Wegmans on Amherst street Saturday afternoon after a thirty-two year old man stabbed his twenty-six year old wife in the store's lobby. The victim was treated at ECMC and later released. The assailant has been arrested on numerous charges including endangering the welfare of a child.

Store spokesperson Theresa Jackson claims that quick action was taken to resolve the incident.
