Press Pass: Bills Toronto series

The Buffalo Bills' played in Toronto over the weekend, but what began a few years ago as an exciting experiment has lost much of its enthusiasm. 

In the days leading up to it, the Canadian press, outside of covering the grumbling of some Buffalo players did not devote much space to the game at the Rogers Center. 

WBFO's Bert Gambini talked to Jim Fink of Business First about how fans on both sides of border feel about the NFL in Canada.

Press Pass: Preservation restoration at Hotel Lafayette

Two massive preservation projects are underway simultaneously in downtown Buffalo.  The Hotel Lafayette and Statler Towers --both historic buildings continue to undergo transformations.

Press Pass: Food trucks vs. restaurants

Buffalo, NY – The arrival of food trucks in Buffalo created quite a buzz, especially for those who were familiar with similar businesses in other cities. But not everyone is as thrilled as the customers.

The idea of a mobile restaurant has raised questions as to how and where these trucks can do business.

Brick & Mortar restaurants are also asking if they're entitled to certain protections.

Press Pass: Orchard Park joins consolidation talks

Buffalo, NY – One of Western New York's most prestigious communities has joined the debate about whether to or not to merge services to hold the line on taxes.

That and politics around the region are in the discussion this week's Press Pass with WBFO's Joyce Kryszak and Buffalo News Suburban Editor Bruce Andriatch.

He said it is not surprising that Orchard Park is talking about consolidating police services.

Buffalo, NY – State lawmakers were busy this past session passing a slew of laws, including the property tax cap, that will have tremendous impact on New Yorkers.

While in Erie County, lawmakers failed to reach agreement on the biggest issue that was before them - reapportionment of legislative districts.
