The City of Buffalo is offering rewards to residents who provide information on illegal use of ATVs and dirt bikes on city streets.

County officials say that they've identified five specimens collected from Erie County residents have been identified as containing a more transmissable variant of the coronavirus.

Visitations can resume in limited capacity at the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Erie County had more than 400 new cases of COVID-19 Friday, according to County Executive Mark Poloncarz. That represents a sharp increase in the number of new caes than the 234 positive cases identified in the Thursday report.

Chadwick Boseman, the star of Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther,” died at the age of 43 on Friday after a private, four-year battle with colon cancer. Boseman also starred in “Marshall,” which was filmed in Buffalo and other parts of Western New York in 2016.
