Amherst police have made an arrest in Thursday's fire at a Target store on Niagara Falls Boulevard.
Sixty-four-year-old William Lattin of Buffalo is charged with second degree arson. He was arraigned in Amherst Town Court Friday and is being held on $50,000.
It's estimated the fire caused million of dollars in damage, mostly from smoke and water, to the store's products.
Authorities identified a suspect from witness descriptions and video footage. They say Lattin returned to the store after it re-opened Friday, where he was spotted by security. Amherst Police were summoned. Lattin was arrested.
Police are not speculating on a motive.
