Storms will likely produce heavy rainfall, gusty winds and lightening. This week three people in New York State were killed and four injured due to lightening related incidents.

The Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Services says the outdoors is the most dangerous place to be during a thunderstorm. People should monitor their local television and radio stations for the latest thunderstorm watches and warnings and make alternate plans when thunderstorms are forecast.
