"Built to Last" is the name that Governor Andrew Cuomo is giving to his list of proposals that will be unveiled during his upcoming State of the State address.
Cuomo has already disclosed his pursuit of a $15 minimum wage, $300 million in small business tax relief and a freeze on thruway tolls. He is also planning to present a blueprint for aiding the homeless as well as changes to address corruption in Albany. The full scope of "Built to Last" will be revealed during the speech on Wednesday.
Cuomo claims the title honors the state's history of making big investments, such as the Erie Canal.
