Local authorities are investigating an illegal cache of fireworks that were discovered while battling a North Buffalo fire.
A garage connected with a Condon Avenue home in Buffalo's Riverside neighborhood caught fire Saturday night. A series of small explosions tipped authorities to the presence of pyrotechnic materials. This led to the discovery of a supply of consumer grade fireworks in the building. Local police, sheriff's deputies and fire personnel are investigating the scene.
