An historic property at 204 High Street is facing an uncertain future. It's been vacant for decades, but a local contractor and artisan is interested in restoring it. Yet, the city has thrown roadblocks in his way and there are fears the structure could be demolished to make way for future development.
WBFO's Mark Scott has more in this week's Press Pass with Buffalo Spree Editor Elizabeth Licata.
They also touch on the very latest involving the soon-to-be demolished Bethlehem Steel Administration Building. Licata will review some of the triumphs in preservation efforts from the past year.
Correction: Officials of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus have informed WBFO News 204 High Street is not within the boundaries of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, though it is nearby. An earlier version of this script and the attached audio interview stated the property was located within the Medical Campus.
