The Buffalo Sabres open the season against the Columbus Blue Jackets Thursday night at First Niagara Center. The area around the FNC is expected to be jam-packed with fans and difficult to navigate for those not familiar with the construction going on at HarborCenter.
The city of Buffalo Parking Department has come up with a list of suggested parking ramps for those heading to the game tonight. The good news is many of them are just $2, yes two bucks! The bad news is you may have walk a few blocks. Most, though, are located within a block or two of the metro rail.
City of Buffalo Parking has noted the following ramps will cost only $2 to park after 5 p.m. Thursday:
Augspurger - 362 Pearl Street
Mohawk - 477 Washington Street
Fernbach - 200 Pearl Street
Main Place - 223 Pearl
Ellicott/Oak - 205 Ellicott Street
Turner - 1 Perkins Drive
There is also $8 parking at the One Seneca ramp (underground) at 1 HSBC Center on Washington Street.
