Theater Talk: Arties, Shaw Festival, Little Women at Kav, Looking Through Glass at JRT

May 31, 2019

You don't have to enroll at Buff State to enjoy a talk by "Professor Chase!" Anthony will be introducing a live, costumed dramatic reading "Little Women", Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the Kavinoky Theatre. This week we also look at the first four openings at The Shaw Festival (see listings below) and the highly recommend LOOKING THROUGH GLASS which closes Sunday at the Jewish Repertory Theatre in Getzville.

In LOOKING THROUGH GLASS at Jewish Repertory Theatre, Jacob (Zachary Bellus) returns to claim the soul of his "beshert" Leah (Arin Lee Dandes) in this first rate production, up only through June 2.

The 29th Annual Artie Awards will host a red carpet event at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, with presentations beginning at 8 p.m. at Shea's 710 Theatre. Get your tickets (general admission) in advance at wbfo.org.
