Weekend shootings wound seven in Buffalo

Buffalo police are investigating two shootings on the city's East Side this weekend that have left seven people wounded.

The latest shooting occurred around 10:00 Saturday night at Townsend and Peckham Streets.  Three people were taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening wounds.  Police are looking for two men who left the scene in a black mini-van. 

Early Saturday, three women and a man were wounded in a shooting at Foster's Lounge in the 600 block of Jefferson Avenue.  One of the victims, a 24-year-old Buffalo woman, was critically wounded and remains hospitalized at ECMC.
