Al Wallack

The Buffalo Broadcasters Association welcomes former WNED-AM Program Director Al Wallack into its Hall of Fame. A 45-year veteran of local radio, Wallack earned a national reputation for his many years hosting "Jazz in the Nighttime" on Buffalo's WEBR-AM.

"I enjoyed my time learning in all those other formats, but I revere my time in jazz because I got to actually work on the radio, every night, presenting a bona fide art form. Not many people can say that," Wallack said.
