The New York State Attorney General announced Friday that her office's Special Investigations and Prosecutions Unit found insufficient evidence to determine a crime was committed by Lockport Police offices and Niagara County Sheriff's Deputies involved in a call which led to the death of Troy Hodge two years ago. But Attorney General Letitia James says the response to the call raises concerns.

New York State Attorney General Letitia James joined Attorney Generals from Massachusetts, Virginia and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in filing a civil suit Monday alleging Libre by Nexus, a Virginia-based immigration services company, of preying upon undocumented immigrants detained in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.) detention centers.

The Trump administration agreed to rescind new visa rules for international college students it announced last week during court proceedings on Tuesday. New York was one of at least 17 states that filed lawsuits over the policy change, which was widely criticized.
