A former teacher at the now-closed Immaculata Academy in Hamburg, who is also a former mayor of Blasdell, has been named in a sexual abuse lawsuit filed on behalf of three women now in their 50s. WBFO's Marian Hetherly talked with Attorney Dan Chiacchia, representing the women who attended Immaculata when they say the abuse by teacher Michael McGuire took place.


Four men who were the subject of a police manhunt Tuesday night are believed to have left the Southtowns and there is no longer any imminent danger to residents, according to police.

A guilty plea in a deadly automobile crash in January will send a Blasdell teen to prison for as many as fifteen years.

Bradley Maloney has pleaded guilty in the early morning crash on the Cattaraugus Reservation that killed one teen passenger and injured two others. Maloney and others had been drinking in Buffalo and were headed to a cottage in a Chautauqua County.

He faces charges of vehicular manslaughter, vehicular assault and DWI.
