Boyd Lee Dunlop

Local jazz pianist Boyd Lee Dunlop has died at the age of 87. Dunlop earned national acclaim in 2011 when his debut album, Boyd's Blues, became a hit in the jazz world.

Buffalo pianist Boyd Lee Dunlop wowed music lovers around the world last year with the release of his first recording -- Boyd's Blues -- at the age of 85.   The CD charted on billboard and was critically acclaimed. 

Thursday evening Dunlop and his brother, Frankie, will be honored with their induction into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame.
