The Catholic Diocese of Buffalo has found a buyer for a former rectory, with the buyer turning the building into a mixed-use space.
The Diocese says it has closed on the sale of its Sheehan Residence for $1.3 million. The Linwood Avenue building once served as the rectory for what was then St. Joseph Cathedral on Delaware Avenue.
The buyer is identified as Mingo Junction Steel Works, which is affiliated with the Buffalo-based Frontier Group of Companies.
