Three candidates are vying for the office of Mayor of Buffalo, two Democrats and one Republican. But it appears one of the candidates may have been offered a job if he agreed to not run.

As Buffalo's mayoral race begins to take shape -- there was an usual pairing on the steps of City Hall Monday.  A rally against child abuse brought out citizens, politicians and candidates. WBFO'S Eileen Buckley reports that standing near one another was incumbent Mayor  Byron Brown and declared candidate for mayor Sergio Rodriguez.

Though he has yet to officially announce his candidacy in Buffalo's mayoral race, Bernie Tolbert is generating waves of reaction on the local political scene.

The Buffalo News is reporting that Mayor Byron Brown is expected to officially launched his reelection bid for a third term this weekend.
