The number of coronavirus cases has more than doubled in New York in recent days. Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office announced Sunday morning the number of cases in the state has increased to 105, up from 89 Saturday and a sharp increase from the 44 cases that had been reported Friday.

Tentative contract agreements have been reached at three Catholic hospitals in the Buffalo area.

Mercy Hospital of Buffalo

Communications of America Local 1133, representing employees at Mercy Hospital in South Buffalo, have authorized a strike at the Catholic Health facility by a 96 percent vote over the last two days.
